In the field of tattoo artists, the operating post of toning pigments always exists, especially in these groups of tattoo artists, who are rich experiences. The reason is straightforward. In the past years, when they worked on the tattoo for the first time, there were only a few options of colours; if they wanted other colours, they have to tone of pigments. So, these older tattoo artists have been spending a lot of time learning the toning of pigments. However, with tattoos grown-up, more and more new tattoo artists and a few older tattoo artists gave up pigment toning. How did it happen? The oldest tattoo artists know that if we need some colours that need to be mixed, which is a complicated job, they have to spend most time and test in a day. Also, many colours cannot blend colours perfectly; thus, the colour difference occurs. When we are doing the toning of pigments, not only hard to mix the colour, but pigment requirements are hard to control. Nowadays, the colour choices of tattoo pigments have also increased. For example, the two most popular brands of tattoo ink are Eterno and Orpheus. The Eterno has over 90 different colours, and the Orpheus has over 200 different colours. My suggestion is if you have a powerful economy, you could buy the bottles of colour from there, which can save you a lot of time, also avoid wasting pigments. The pigments of different brands are different sizes of granule and other formulas. If we mix the colours from two different brands, it happens unaverage situation easily. So, my best advice is do not try to mix colours from different brands. However, if we tattoo it in different positions or areas, which is fine.
