Important Usage Note (Stroke vs Needle Depth)
Q: Why isn’t adjusting needle depth enough to bring needles into the cartridge?
A: The scale on the machine refers to stroke length, not needle depth. Stroke controls how far the machine drives the needle. After adjusting stroke, you must also twist the grip (pink adjustment ring) to set the needle length, allowing the needle to properly extend into the cartridge.
